Founded in 2005, KC Vision Performance has provided life-changing services to thousands of people throughout the Kansas City region. KC Vision Performance is operated by Alphapointe, a non-profit organization founded in 1911 dedicated to empowering people with vision loss to achieve their goals and aspirations. Alphapointe operates two clinics: KC Vision Performance and the Alphapointe Low Vision Clinic in Kansas City, Mo. Dr. Anita Sahni
Dr. Sahni holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed her optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She has over 23 years of experience working with visually impaired patients and is dedicated to helping people with vision loss maintain or gain their independence.
“My mission is to provide exceptional care to people losing their vision and help them maintain as much function as possible so they can live their lives to the fullest,” Dr. Sahni said.
Since coming on board, Dr. Sahni has been working in the areas of low vision, neuro-optometry, and vision therapy.
“I’ve always been drawn to this type of work,” she says. “It’s not just fascinating from a science perspective, it’s a way to help people maximize the vision they do have and help them find ways to continue doing the things they love to do.”
